This beautiful rare Soviet era plaque presents one of the famous symbols of Armenia, Mount Ararat, along with a quote from author Hovhannes Toumanyan.
Inscription:
Գնաս բարով ա՛յ ախտավոր,
Երանի քեզի, Հայ ախտավոր,
Որ կարոտով ու սիրառատ
Ուխտ ես գնում գեզ ԱՅՐԱՐԱՏ:
Անլռելի զանգակատուն…
(Although these plaques are not used, they have aged with shelf life. The metal parts may have minor dents and rust.)
