The trilingual proceedings of the conference held in Haigazian University, Lebanon, September 12-15, 2005. The volume contains 14 chapters, seven in English, four in French and three in Armenian. The topics covered are varied, ranging from ancient history, to the refugees’ period, politics, music, the rise of self-employment, the centrality of Lebanon in the Armenian Diaspora, the Armenian identity, and vitality of its cultural institutions.
